Maisel Brauerei began in 1887 with two brothers in upper Bavaria in the small Franconian village of Bayreuth. Today two Maisel brothers; Jeff and Andreas own the brewery, great grandsons of the founders, this brewery remains 100% family owned. The Maisel's Weisse was a turning point for the beer and soon became the trendsetter for Weisse bier in Germany. Today the beer from Maisel Brothers' Brewery is savored and enjoyed around the world as a tribute to the value of tradition, imagination and determination.
